After looking at the picture, I noticed the beautiful shapes of the crashing waves plunging towards the beach. I feel open and astonished at the beauty of nature and man’s inevitable influence on it. Now, looking at the photo, I feel a renewed sense of hope rather than simple happiness because of the realization that there is endless beauty in the world and hopefully many more people to appreciate it.
I’m reminded of a fantasy landscape, where the sky is always vibrant and the sea always glitters.
What struck me immediately (and what still holds my attention after looking for a while) is the way the wetted sand on the beach has the same texture as the wispy clouds above it. Normally people think of the sea and sky as opposites or associates, but in this photo it’s the sand – not the water – that reflects the sky.
I love this picture because of the colors it shows. The blue color of the ocean and the orange sunset or sunrise in the sky really compliment each other.
This scene is so beautiful it reminds me of a painting. I completely agree with the things you said in your caption about “endless beauty” and hoping that more people can appreciate it. The soft, mellow colors of the sky is very calming to me. Overall, this is a fantastic photo!
I love the difference in color and contrast between the sky and the ocean, and the shape of the mountain in the back. Lots of people take pictures of sunsets but this picture is one of the better ones that i have seen.
