The color was the original thing that I noticed about this photo. The deep blue lake compared to the baby blue sky is really interesting to me. I also noticed how in the foreground of the picture, the green trees are very defined and even the people on the bridge in the lower left corner are pretty differentiated. But as you look farther back, you can still see the boats in the lake along with the ripples in the water made in their trail. The trees are pretty foggy behind the lake and even further back the mountains are almost completely faded. Nonetheless, this creates a beautiful image of Donner Lake on a beautiful day.
