When I think about college I think about progress and the road to the future; the overlapping arches in this photograph exemplify this. It looks as though there is a path stretching forward, which is exactly what college represents to me.
The contrast between the dark arches and the bright courtyard create the idea that the path to somewhere, such as college, may be dark, but destination is bright.
I love the texture and symmetry of your photo. The neutral colors blend nicely with the shadows of the arch and emphasize the other details in the background.
