In our world things can turn upside down whether we want it to or not. The reflection of the puddle can be seen as a reflection of yourself and how you have changed. When things don’t turn out the way they should you can always take a minute to see where you are.
The clouds in the reflection look ominous and grey at the top, but cheerful and fluffy at the bottom. It reminds me of the constant battles we all have to face in the world.

At first I noticed the etherealness of the shadow and clouds in the reflection, and then I got distracted by the in-your-face neon green of the pedestrian’s shoes. This photo is a reminder that it’s the inaccessible worlds that are the most romantic (at least in my eyes).
I like how the shadow shows what looks like a parallel world. The photos orientation makes it even stronger.
