As I look at this photo I see the people’s expressions for the first time, specifically the old man in the back-ground. I notice his simple smile and thought back to what he owned. Unlike many people I know he lived in a house he built with a wheat field and some sheep, and best of all a beautiful view. I then think back to his smile and realize he is happy living simply and it is not the new things that are important.
