Sydney Franz, Palo Alto High School, Stinson Beach, CA
When I went to visit Stinson Beach over the summer, I was amazed at the beauty that the beach held. The ripples in the water on the sand get bigger as they get closer to the shore. I feel like these ripples portray our knowledge in life and how, as we gain more knowledge, we get closer to discovering our identity. I am a middle ripple, on the path to becoming the real me.
I like how the water produces a perfect reflection of the rocks, forming new shapes.
The rocks make the water look almost three dimensional with bends and shapes.
I love the way the ripples are emphasized and how the clear water reflects the rocks perfectly.
I think that this picture really captures the appeal of the beach. I love the reflection of the rocks and how peaceful the waves look out in the distance.
